Cornwall is a great place to see birds of all kinds. In the far West of Cornwall there are regular reports of rare and migrant visiting birds, and of course there are sea birds a plenty. We've only just taken up Birdwatching late in 2011, but already we've seen and photographed some great birds. Over the months we'll be blogging and building up our own on-line record, with some useful information for beginners such as ourselves.
A couple of great sites to go to see what Birds have recently been seen are www.cornwall-birding.co.uk, http://www.cbwps.org.uk/ and if you want confirmation of the breed of a bird, then the bird identification forum on www.birdforum.net is amazing, there are an army of experienced birders who can identify your picture, often in minutes !
