Mousehole Lights provide a unique experience, every year visitors flock to this tiny harbour village to enjoy a "feel good" experience of Christmas spirit. The lights were first erected in 1963 by Mousehole artist Joan Gillchrest.
This year the lights will be on from the 17th December 2011 through to 3rd January. They are on from 5pm until 11pm.
One of the most popular nights to visit is on Tom Bawcock's Eve, where down at the Ship Inn a Star Gazy pie ( fish, egg, potatoes with fish heads poking out of the pie !) is provided to all in memorial of Tom Bawcock, a local fisherman who braved storms to land fish that fed the whole village many many Xmas's ago.
Click here to see the lights in the harbour as of the the end of November 2011, and here for a preview early December 2011.
